Spring Mix Salad
Mixed salad with balsamic vinegar dressing
A quick and easy salad, for those who want something fresh and without too many pretensions. Perfect as a side dish for meat or fish dishes or as an accompaniment in a buffet or a summer brunch.
Ingredients for 6 people:
150 g of springs mixed green.
2 carrots
2 zucchinis
6 cherry tomatoes
6 stalks of celery
Method:
-Rinse and drain the springs mixed green well if needed.
-Peel and cut in julienne the carrots.
-Cut the head & tail of the zucchini off then cut them into julienne.
-Take the celery stalks and remove the green leaves, rinse them well, gently peel off the skin then cut them into thin slices.
-Rinse the cherry tomatoes then cut them into 2 long wedges.
At this point combine all the vegetables in a bowl.
For the dressing:
4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of Duet AcetA Black Silver
Balsamic Vinegar di Modena IGP
+Salt to taste.
To prepare the dressing, combine the oil with the vinegar in a bowl and mix everything with a fork until you get a thick emulsion. Pour over the salad and mix very well, serve with toasted croutons.
Sliced Steak
Enriching your favorite steak with just a spoon of high-quality original Italian balsamic vinegar!!
Ingredients for 1-2 portions
1.5 lb of a thick piece of steak you prefer (Sirloin, Boneless Ribeye, London broil, Tenderloin, New York stripe)
1 Teaspoons of Sea salt
Side Ingredients
2-3 Handful of baby arugula
8 oz of thin sliced aged parmesan cheese
2 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Method:
Grill the steak for 2–3 minutes with high heat on each side or for longer if you prefer your steak well done. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare 2 side plates.
Method:
Spread the baby arugula onto 1- 2 plates, and top with the parmesan cheese and extra virgin olive oil.
At this point, pre-heat the pan to high heat, slices the steak approximately ¼ inch thick, put the sliced steak in the hot pan for less than a minute to heat it up then transfer the steak to the plate on top of the side prepared.
Sprinkle the sea salt over the meat then dress up Duet AcetA
Jazz Up Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP
